Carla, the place truly is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been……certainly in my top 5 in the world, Europe included. It is simply gorgeous and I still pinch myself that I got to visit. I highly recommend it if you find yourself in the area. The folks at Rowena’s will take great care of you and the view is simply unbeatable. Kerry, your observation of this magical yet heartwarming inn is as captivating as the landscape and architecture enveloping Rowenas. After watching this charming movie “The Wedding March”, I was compelled to search out its location via the internet. I presently reside in sunny Florida but lived in Massachusetts until 11 years ago, therefore I am quite familiar with the warmth and beauty of Autumn. I find myself drawn to recreating this breathtaking view on canvas – lets see Watercolor, Acrylic, Mixed Media? My imagination is swirling with joyous visions! It looks like heaven on earth. How unimaginable to have such a beautiful home on such beautiful land and the family who loves it. If my husband and I are ever lucky enough to get to Canada we are surely going to come by and marvel at the beauty before us. Thanks Net…..I appreciate that! The inn IS absolutely gorgeous and I still cannot believe I was there. I enjoyed my time there so very much. It is just so peaceful and magical.

Betty Ann is pretty fascinating and she is fun to chat with. The hallway of the inn is lined with photos of the Pretty family and looking at those photos really brought this family to life.

It was amazing to stay in the same cottage that filming took place in for I Do. And yes, I wish I had a do-over day…lol! Thanks for your support Net. I appreciate it!!! 🙂

Yes, there is so much history and so to be there and to sit down with Betty Anne and talk about her life was just incredible! I love finding these locations and discovering their stories.
