Cheryl, thanks and I am happy to be back! Ah, great minds think alike. I mean, we HAD to order the biscuits & gravy, right? SO, so good!!! It is nice to hear from a Texan that Buc-ee’s is a family fave. I wasn’t sure how Texans felt about the place but it is SO fun! I do love Bugles and white fudge….next visit I will give the Beaver Twists a go….thanks for the hot tip! WOW! I cannot believe they make the cake balls in YOUR city! That is so cool Cheryl! Terri, this place is right up your alley! I have been to Waco three times and all were day trips from Austin. You should wait until the hotel opens and then plan your visit. 🙂

As a Texan, of course I love this blog post about two things very important to Texas, Magnolia and Buc-ee’s! I too had the biscuits and gravy when I went to Magnolia Table this summer and the shining star was the strawberry butter! You can pick it up also in the take away section. As far as Buc-ee’s, this is a family favorite. Try the Beaver Twists next time! (Bugles covered in white fudge!!!) Fun fact about the cake balls you mentioned, they are all made in my city, (Conroe) from one of our favorite restaurants/bakeries, “Pie in the Sky”. They are the best we have ever had.
