Ed, thank you for your comment! Yes, I am familiar with the movie, The Spirit of Christmas. While I do not have plans to travel to Ohio at this time, I will for sure keep this in mind should I travel your way. I thank you for the details on filming locations from the movie. Hi Kerry,
I really love viewing your site. Nice to see someone who loves Hallmark movies as much as I do. I must admit, you took your interest of their movies to a whole different level by finding the actual places. I would love to visit some of these places someday and you did the leg work of finding them for me already. Also if you’re ever in Ohio, a Hallmark movie was filmed in Lebanon, Ohio back in October of 2013 called “The Christmas Spirit,” A lot of places to view and find. Some things to look for in the movie: The Golden Lamb as the Laurel Springs Inn; The old Silver Street Warren County Courthouse being used as the Laurel Springs Town Hall; The cotton against the building that looked like snow; when characters walk into the Lebanon United Methodist Church on Silver Street they end up inside St. Patricks Episcopal Church on Main Street; when a character walks into the green house on S. Mechanic Street (Nicollette Sheridan’s house) they are actually in the yellow house next door (which was Olympia Dukakis’ house) and visa versa; the former office of the chairman of the board of LCNB National Bank on the third floor of the main LCNB Lebanon branch at Broadway and Mulberry used as Nicollette Sheridan’s newspaper editor’s office in New York City; the Kingdom Hall entrance of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church on East Street being used as a hospital emergency room entrance; and the exterior of the old empty Best Cafe on Mulberry Street becomes the Country Kitchen off of SR 350 near I-71 once inside.

Hi Tina, I do not know where any of the clothing was purchased that Kimberley wore in this movie. Maybe check IMDB and see if you can reach out to the person who handled costume & wardrobe. Best of luck! 🙂

Hi Ron…..thanks for your comment. I blew up my photos and it is a Riviera. Using Google, I discovered Buick made these cars. I do not know the year of the car used in the movie but perhaps an auto enthusiast might know. Good luck and Merry Christmas! 🙂

SO, so neat for you Doreen!!! I love this! My cousins lived in Gibsons for awhile and I loved visiting them…..such a picturesque town on the water. Be sure to watch Hallmark’s ‘The Irresistible Blueberry Farm’…the house boat and some town scenes were shot in Gibsons. (more of a taste of home) I am so happy you stumbled upon my blog and I thank you for your comment. I live in Washington State too! Merry Christmas to you and yours. 🙂

I was watching the Hallmark Movie “A Godwink Christmas” this evening 12/05/2018, loved the movie and googled it to find out where it was filmed as it looked like home! AND Yeah, Gibson’s Landing as I know it located just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia. Thank you for “Down Memory Lane”. Now living in Wenatchee, Washington.

Hi Barby, how exciting for you! I love that you are going to visit the town where Christmas in Homestead was shot. I have not done any research on the locations used in this movie. This is what I would suggest. When you arrive in town, drop by the Chamber of Commerce and let them know what brought you to town. Ask specifically about filming and locations. Likely, the Chamber Director will have a lot of knowledge and want to talk about filming with you. Please remember that real people live in these locations so always be respectful when stopping to take any photos.
