Oh yes that yellow house is famous in Hallmark movies. I was just watching When Speaks Fly (I have recently decided I love that movie) and I was like that’s Sarah’s farm house (although it was probably Amy’s house first). I have yet to publish my story on the place that was used to film the interiors of Harvest Moon but it will be coming. Its funny, until I went to Milner Valley Cheese, I thought that they had used the farmhouse for interiors as well as the exteriors……I was so surprised to learn otherwise.

I love seeing this and am going to find your post about the house the movie was actually shot in. I found myself wondering the whole movie if it was the same house inside, I love the houses in the Hallmark movies and become obsessed with them.

Wow Net, that is so interesting about your background! I was simply fascinated by the generations on the land info. When I was crossing back through the border that day and the agent asked me why I was in Canada and I told him, we got into a discussion about his own family background and land! The border agent is from the south and was telling me all about his family roots, back to the 1600’s. His response to me telling him that these folks had family living on the land for over 100 years???? “Well that’s not very long!” LOL, I had to chuckle at that one! I’m sure the line of cars in back of me waiting to cross wasn’t too happy but boy we sure had ourselves an interesting convo.

I too, was VERY intrigued when I learned that ineteriors were shot elsewhere. Then I had to laugh at myself because for as many times as I’ve scene this movie, and the fact that I’ve been to the location where interiors were shot, I hadn’t put it together. To be honest, it never dawned on me that interiors would have been shot elsewhere and although the kitchen is recognizable, set dec did add some touches to make it more homey. I cannot wait to share this location with you!!! Thanks Net!!! 🙂
