HI Kerry, you are right, at the time, my Salon and Spa Shear Splendor Hair Boutique and Spa was on the right hand corner, (Unfortunately I have since closed and Blacksmith bakery expanded into the location) But there is a hair salon scene in the movie and this was filmed in my salon & Spa, that was beside Blacksmith.

I did hear after the first one was made that the filming locations for the series was changed as you stated but it was very cool to have my salon, at the time, in a movie.

Hi Kerry,
My wife has no interest in anything to do with Hallmark movies. She likes such things as The Walking Dead.
Anyway, if you come up to explore Hallmark locations and you’d like company I’d be happy to go with you. I could even do the driving.

Eaten at the Blacksmith several times. Yum. The Community hall has doubled in all sorts of movies. Easily recognized by the yellow front. A Garage sale mystery used an Antique place in Mission. I recognized it, even though they changed the scenery around it. A reality office in Abbotsford (formerly a great restaurant) has been featured in an Aurora Teagarden movie. There’s even a shot where the long in business Champagne & Lace bridal store can be seen.

If you look around Fort Langley you just might find one or two film locations for Hallmark Garage Sale Mystery 🙂
(I spy with my eye The Antique Shop that was used and a a home used in one of the scene where they follow a pickup truck and a killer..)

Bo, thank you so much for your comment. Yes, they used a different bakery after that first movie. It is located in Squamish BC. One day (if the border ever re-opens) I will make a weekend trip to see a bunch of sites from several movies that have filmed in the area. Been wanting to do this for awhile……and now 2020 has everything shut down, just as my schedule has started to clear. Glad you have enjoyed my blog. 🙂

I just read your blog and that was some fine work in finding that 1st cookie jar, but it looks like all the rest were done in multiple different locations even the city in the 5th one looks completely different with mountains in the background. I haven’t found your other blogs yet. This week is the first time I have seen all of these movies. I like the characters and your blog.

Thanks for your comment Tracy. Sometimes, the same house isn’t available, the cost to rent it is too much, or perhaps the home owners don’t want to rent it out again to a movie crew. 🙂

Just came across ypur post while trying to search for information on Alison Sweney’s wardrobe from Chronicale Mysteries. I happen to be watching the Murder She Baked marathon as well. Do you know how I might find out about the wardrobe of any of her shows? I did the basic internet search and didn’t find much.
