Hi Kari! Today was the very first time I watched Cedar Cove, now in reruns, and I fell in love with the scenery. It's kismit for sure since I have been wanting to visit British Columbia for a couple of years now. I can't describe it, but it's like it's pulling me to come and explore. Thank you for your lovely blog, it's wonderful! You and I share a hardship - the loss of our mother's. Mine passed away in June of 2019. She was my best friend and I dearly miss her. Welcome Mari! Yes, there is a fabulous Hallmark Hall of Fame movie called ‘The Beach House’, which stars “Olivia”, AKA Andie MacDowell. It is very beautiful and moving. Check it out! 🙂

Sally, what an intriguing thought regarding Moon’s house……you’re right, that would have been so cool to see!!! And thanks for the tip on Charlotte’s house and it possibly being used in Lifetime’s Boy in the Attic…..I am going to check that out. A couple days ago, a fellow Hallmark fan and I discovered it was also used in Hallmark’s The Edge of the Garden. I had “scene” the movie years ago but could not recall the name and my new Hallmark friend, Kathy, mentioned the name the other night. It had been driving me crazy for awhile. I will reply to you here once I check out the Lifetime movie.

Such a great post, Kerry! As I newer blogger myself, I can totally relate to the “what ifs” surrounding the idea of starting a blog. I also think it was really touching that you dedicated your blog to your mom. I believe that Charlotte’s house from Season 3 was also “scene” in the Lifetime movie, Boy in the Attic, starring When Calls the Heart alum, Max Lloyd-Jones. As a fan of Moon from Cedar Cove, I was always disappointed that Moon’s house was never featured on the show. I can just imagine how cool it might’ve looked on-screen.

Thank you so much Net. I appreciate your kind words and it really means a lot to me. I remember emailing with you way back at the start of all this, never knowing how it would go. You encouraged me then as you continue to do now. Thank you!!!! I know my mom would have loved me doing something with all my filming facts and tidbits and it’s true what I wrote; I do feel her with me when I’m exploring these new places in Canada. I thank you so much for,what you said about my writing. And I am so glad how it comes across. My “style” if you will, is exactly what you said, like two friends having a conversation. Kerry, this is such a lovely post and tribute to your dear Mother. You are such a sweet, kind, and caring person – so I know she was, too! You stepped out on faith and created this wonderful web-site, an amazing place for on-line friends to share a love of Hallmark movies and the incredible places they were filmed. This is THE LOCATION! I’m sure your Mother would have been so proud.

Oh, and by the way… I love your writing!… it’s like friends having a conversation! You always make me feel like you are sharing your heart… and all the triumphs and struggles (sometimes) to find certain locations.
